All high pressure cylinders require testing. Scuba diving cylinders need testing every 30 months from the date of manufacture, alternating between visual test and hydrostatic tests. Air gun cylinders fitted with surface valves need to be tested every 5 years.
Cylinders that do not have an in-date test stamp or sticker cannot be refilled until they have been tested.
If your tank or regulator fails the hydrostatic test, the tester is under a legal obligation to destroy them to prohibit their future use. We have no control over this as it is the law. The payment is unaffected and we will be unable to refund any part of your payment.
Oxygen cleaning is valid only for 18 months from the date of cleaning due to the risk of contamination.
