This unique mask has been developed to assist divers who are prone to ear infections or have difficulty in equalising. The mask has two soft silicone ear covers that form a water tight seal between the ear drum and the cover. When you equalise your ears in your usual way you also simultaneously equalise the pressure on the outside of your ear via the connecting tubes from the mask skirt to to the ear covers. A one-way valve prevents water entering the mask from the ear covers in the event of a leak. Other benefits from keeping the ears sealed also include reducing the chance of an ear infection from water, plus improved sense of direction and warmth retention.
This mask can also been worn with a purpose designed 5mm hood.
Optical minus lenses (short sight) and plus lenses (long sight) are availbe for this mask.
